Description
Building a D2C wellness brand rooted in something as trust-dependent and heavily regulated as Ayurveda comes with challenges most generic business advice doesn't cover - from translating traditional formulations into scalable products, to earning credibility in a crowded wellness market, to knowing when clinical expertise should lead the brand story versus when the product should. This 1:1 session is for founders and aspiring entrepreneurs who want a real, practical look at how to build a heritage-rooted wellness or D2C brand from someone who has actually done it - not theory, but decisions made in the trenches of running both a clinical practice and a product line simultaneously.
You'll walk away with clarity on how to position a traditional or heritage-based product for a modern audience, how to balance authenticity with scalability, and how to structure a brand narrative that builds genuine trust rather than relying on wellness-industry buzzwords. Whether you're just starting to shape your idea or already running a wellness or D2C business and hitting growth friction, this conversation is designed to give you honest, experience-backed direction you can act on immediately.
Who is Dr. Parvathy Sabu
Dr. Parvathy Sabu is a fifth-generation Ayurvedic physician and the founder of Yadasutra, a D2C Ayurvedic wellness brand built on more than a century of family heritage in traditional medicine. What began as a clinical practice - Neerozhukkil Vaidyasala, which she also founded and now runs across multiple centres in Kerala - grew into a product-led brand serving customers well beyond the clinic, a transition she navigated firsthand while balancing patient care with the demands of building a company from scratch.
Her journey has taken her from treating patients one-on-one to sharing her story on D2C founder platforms and industry summits, giving her a grounded, practical perspective on what it actually takes to scale a heritage brand without losing the trust and authenticity that built it in the first place. What makes her especially valuable as a mentor is that she's lived both sides of the equation - the deep expertise of a practicing clinician and the hard-won lessons of a first-time founder - and she talks about the messy, real parts of that journey rather than a polished highlight reel.
